Why We Built This Site
Michigan offers several public record channels, yet each has a different scope. Otsego County Sheriff Records holds Sheriff incident material and local jail files. The trial-court clerks keep filed charges and dispositions. Michigan State Police CJIC maintains the state repository and ICHAT public product, while MDOC OTIS and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry answer separate corrections and registration questions. We bring the verified request steps, fees, official links, and local contact details together so those boundaries are clear.

- We cannot interpret a charge, warrant, or case as legal advice
- We cannot promise that an agency has not changed a fee, phone number, or office procedure
An official record must come from the office that maintains it, such as the Sheriff, the correct court clerk, Michigan State Police CJIC, or MDOC.
